I've been suffering from a bit of an inferiority complex lately about my lack of blogging. I browse, lurk on, read so many smart, witty blogs these days that reading has become my lazy way of keeping up in the blog world more exciting for me than writing.
Then I found this test on PhD with Nine Kids blog, that confirms WHY I have a this complex.
This was my daughters score: (not surprisingly)
Then I ran the test on my 8 year old son's poem post and got this.
This was mine. (Embarassingly I think)

I used to be college; now I'm elementary school--I guess I'm going downhill!
Junior High School as well on mine.
ha! That's a great comparison!! Oh well. At least the kids are smart ;)
I'm afraid I might hit the pre-school level so I'm NOT even going to do that test.....
Tests and me = a SURE fire F!!

Tell me about it. I was college, then got high school - which used to be on my blog. Now it's Jr. High. Quite annoying, truth be told, and my kids all have blogs of their own that rate higher than mine. I think it's a conspiracy myself, you know to build up the kid's self-esteem and all that jazz.
Hi, by the way, I came here via one of my faves, The Philosopher-Mom. Trying to find out about free t-shirts or something that your comment mentioned. :) I lurk until I see prizes. :)
Nice to meet you.
Oh, I also get a bit wordy, sorry.
In my case, it's a total crock. Flattering, but ... no way. Cool idea though.
Isn't it great? I'm High School, too...and I not only have a real Ph.D., but I say so in the title of my blog!
So I blame my kids.
Thanks for the shout-out!
Wait...let me get this right..so I have to be charming, witty, thought provoking AND now I have to worry about what my readability level is?!?!?!
I was elementary school...so there! pppfffflllltttttt!!!
Now I will go back and check periodically....i'm hooked...thanks, (she said sarcastically) Trish for the link!! I'm going to go and take someone's pencil!
:-D
Um. You have some brainy kids!
I got high school . . . nice. Real nice.
I got elementary school. Feel better?
Ha, cute post. I've thought similiarly. I'm new within the last 2-3 wks of blogging. Just told a friend today that I wasn't sure if I had the time or will to continue blogging. My friend is such a creative writer and I run into all these other great blogs, such as yours. It's a new world, isn't it?! lol
