A billion dollars ago was 17 hours, at the rate Washington spends taxpayers' money to kill people
The US Military budget for 2007 is $532.8bn. This excludes nuclear weapons research and production, and also exludes the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq ($120bn for 2007). Who gets this money?

Yikes! Add those dollars to the dollars spent by the ever-so-clever folks at NASA who spend billions to explore WHAT? Freakin' rocks trillions of miles away while our world lives in poverty. Well, we've got ourselves a poker match! Which idiotic institution wins? Because we know who loses.
